he Vespa Club of Australia recently held its Annual General Meeting and has elected a new national President, Mario Chetcuti. Mario is the current President of Vespa Club Brisbane, and oversaw the successful organization of our recent Australian Vespa Days event on the Sunshine Coast.
After 7 years, Julie Pond has stepped aside but will continue on as the club’s Vice President, and also representing us internationally as a Board Member of the Vespa World Club.
We also had an excellent discussion led by Vespa Club of Canberra regarding the next AVD event to be held in Canberra in early 2027. Important announcements will soon follow.
For now, congratulations to Mario for stepping into his new role, and a big thank you to Julie for that excellent 7 years of leadership.
